Description
We are looking for an ambitious software architect/developer who is interested in exploring a role as a foundation team member in a disruptive B2B (for the first phase) technology start-up in travel market.
We would prefer a developer in and around London, with programming skills in any language, who has a keen interest in algorithm development and machine learning implementation. Previous experience of developing web platforms for travel industry can be useful but is not mandatory.
Current status of our efforts:
1. We are building the prototype and already have 5 beta sites (companies) signed up for trials.
2. We were one of the six finalists (out of over 100 applicants) in the British Airways Business Life big idea competition in travel.
3. We were the only team, at seed stage, to be selected to present at the recent E100 session - angel group at London Business School.
4. We have provisional investment commitments from reliable travel industry entrepreneurs and external angel investors.
The founder has been working full time on this, with help of several part time developers, for around 10 months. Since we are in early stages, a serious contribution will be linked to significant amount of stock options available through EMI scheme.
