Position: Java Technical Lead for PODS
Location: Warsaw (Hybrid role with occasional office attendance)
Employer Type: Freelance, initial six months extendable
Eligibility: EU Citizen (No visa sponsorship available)

We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead for our PODS team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, and Linux. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, and Linux expertise to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Act as a technical lead and architect, guiding the team in making architectural and technical decisions.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions as a technical lead or architect.
- Display excellent servant leadership skills, fostering collaboration and empowering team members.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions, maintaining situational awareness and resolving conflicts as they arise.
- Continuously improve the team's processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
- Possess strong communication skills, effectively communicating with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
- Showcase excellent customer-facing skills, providing exceptional service and support to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Extensive experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java 8+.
- Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, and Linux.
- Proven track record as a technical lead or architect, delivering successful projects.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- EU citizenship is mandatory for this role.
