Description
Work Areas• Validate next generation 77GHz automotive radar chips on system level
• Collect and structure measurement result data, and populate report templates
• Build and bring-up HW/SW-in-the-loop test benches
• Develop, tailor, maintain an debug test scripts for test automation in Java
• Build and debug SW for embedded devices
Required Education & Experience
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Practical experience with setup and configuration of HW/SW test systems (DUT) and with
RF measurement instrumentation (spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, freq multiplier, …)
• Able to write scripts to remotely control instrumentation and DUT, e. g. using MATLAB
• Develop, tailor, debug and maintain SW scripts in Java to automate tests (backend and GUI), to gather/structure/store measurement result data, and to generate reports
• Configure and debug instrument drivers in Java (Ethernet, GPIB, VISA, ...)
• Improve/extend existing scripts covering error reporting and handling
• IT infrastructure setup (Ethernet, IP routing, BUS interfaces, …) for radar test bench
• Knowledge in functional safety ISO 26262 is a plus (training certificate)
• Background and basic understanding in RF/GHz domain and electromagnetics is a plus
• Experience with radar target simulators and mmWave circuit boards is a plus
