My client is a transmission services company based in Belgium and they are looking for a Jr. Project Leader for a 6+ months contract. below are the job details. Please apply for immediate consideration.
Service Description:
- The junior project leading service will collaborate on electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70 and 36 kV) concerning high voltage substations or lines and cables.
This includes the following:
- Involvement in the project from definition to closure: participating in the definition, study, design of the projects and ensuring project implementation and administrative closure
- Technical studies implementation and guidance
- Implementation of calculations, development and follow-up of budgets and planning of projects taking into account the required and available resources and customer requests
- Development of tender files and participation in the procurement process
- Managing and coordinating execution on site in collaboration with the relevant employees within the Elia Group as well as suppliers, contractors, customers
- Communication and reporting on the progress of the project
- Depending on experience, these tasks are taken up autonomously or under supervision.
- There is a very extensive training package within Elia.
- The junior project leading service will be active within the infrastructure projects department.
- After the training period, the service will be able to work two days a week in teleworking. The projects and associated sites are divided into 3 geographical areas ("East & West Flanders + Hainaut", "Namur, Liège and Luxembourg", "Antwerp, Limburg & Brussels"). The junior project leading service can thus be optimally organized between the construction sites (which must be visited regularly during construction phase), the office (in Schaarbeek) and the home.
Service requirements:
- Master's degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering or equivalent through experience and strongly interested in engineering
- Experience in project management and/or experience in site follow-up are a plus.
- Perfect knowledge of Dutch or French. Knowledge of the other national language is an important asset.
- Interest in the energy sector
- Strong sense of responsibility, pronounced organizational skills.
- Communication skills with smooth assertiveness and who is customer-oriented.
- Good teamwork with a good dose of resourcefulness."
