Lead Java Developer
New, exciting long-term contract opportunity for a Lead Java Developer to join our leading Financial Services customer on a full-time, freelance basis.
The customer is embarking on a new project to build a state-of-the-art high-end payment solution and require someone to lead the overall development to ensure quality and efficiency. You will also be contributing to solution architecture and technical decisions whilst collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful results.
The customer is seeking a proven Lead Java Developer with a minimum of 7 years of Java Software Development experience, proven leadership in coaching development teams, and a strong command of Spring framework, Spring Boot, Kafka, and SQL. The ideal candidate should also have familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD tools, along with a track record of successfully leading teams in large-scale projects.
This is a full-time, freelance position with long-term prosperity likely as the project will be lasting 3-4 years. This is a hybrid role with 2 days to be spent onsite in Stockholm per week.
