Description
Our client is seeks a talented Lead ML Platform Engineer to join their ML Infra team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a growing team in building the ML Platform, a set of technologies that enable ML engineers, research scientists, and computational linguists to focus on their expertise while minimizing time spent on orchestration and infrastructure.• Architect and build a machine learning platform to accelerate ML solution development and meet the needs of stakeholders such as ML engineers, research scientists, computational linguists, and data scientists.
• Advocate for internal stakeholders and customers, driving productivity improvements and reducing time to develop new features.
• Research existing tools and approaches in MLOps and ML platforms to ensure best-in-class technology.
• Scale the reuse of models, features, and code across the company's ML systems.
• Design system architectures that address the requirements of multiple stakeholders and enable seamless workflows.
Requirements:
• Possess experience with traditional ML and modern DL algorithms in NLP, including seq-2-seq, transformers, and other model architectures.
• Knowledge of LLM deployment and optimization is advantageous.
• Back-end Python development expertise with experience in AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Java, Scala, and Spark is a plus.
• Experience with ML cloud platforms and managing resource utilization, cost, and performance in cloud environments with accelerators and GPUs.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms for working with large datasets or data streams.
• Familiarity with industry ML platforms like Michelangelo or FBLearner Flow.
• Up-to-date knowledge of ML, DL, NLP, and MLOps.
