Job Title: Level 1 TechSupport
Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
Contract: Until December 2024, potential extension
Day Rate: Up to £140 per day
IR35: Inside IR35
Job Description: As Level 1 Tech Support, you will be the first point of contact, providing technical assistance and support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing step-by-step guidance to resolve them.
- Logging all customer interactions and technical issues accurately in our ticketing system.
- Escalating complex issues to the appropriate team members for further investigation and resolution.
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of support documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and effective communication with clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND 1 Year's Experience
- Strong passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide clear and concise instructions.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), networking concepts, and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
