Linux- Administrator - London/Remote
Our client a stable Financial Services client is looking for a talented Linux Administrator to joining the 24/7 support team.
You must have a blend of the following skills:-
- knowledge of multiple OS platforms such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, SuSE and Solaris.
- knowledge of Linux system internals and Kernel tuning.
- knowledge of configuring Linux operating systems for optimal performance.
- knowledge of performance monitoring, tuning utilities and commands.
- knowledge of security hardening principles in line with industry benchmarks.
- knowledge of networking, storage, database and virtualization layers.
- knowledge of clustering and high-availability.
- knowledge of replication and disaster recovery.
- knowledge of security and auditing.
- knowledge of data security governance and regulations such as GDPR and SOX.
