Position: Linux DevOps Expert for a Global Automobile ClientWork Location: Stuttgart, Germany (Hybrid Model – Minimum 2-3 days/week in office)

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage support, administration, and maintenance of critical Operating System infrastructure on SUSE and Red Hat Linux.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, patching, compliance, and other Linux-based tasks across servers.
Expertise in SLES, RHEL administration, SaltStack, Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
Plan and execute OS version upgrades, migrations, server builds, application-specific configurations, and cluster/virtualization setups.
Lifecycle management of SUSE Linux / Red Hat Linux infrastructure and distributions.
Monitor changes and incidents within the Linux OS infrastructure.
Resolve critical technical issues during crisis situations; act as a single point of ownership for solutions.
Collaborate with customer technical teams, governance, and architects on technical projects; manage the client's Linux OS infrastructure.
Lead the team, ensuring operations run smoothly and support in crisis situations, demonstrating ownership and accountability.
Meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); ensure customer satisfaction.
Serve as the Single Point of Contact for customers regarding Linux Server operations.
Skills Required:
Technical Skills:
SUSE Linux (Preferred) or Red Hat Linux, OS Administration.
Linux Server Image Build and Package Management.
Linux Security and SUDO access management.
Linux Subscription and Management software (e.g., Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, SuSE Manager).
Upgrades, Migrations, Performance Tuning, and advanced root cause analysis.
Application Setups understanding.
Language Skills:
Must have German Language skills (Verbal and Written) - B2+ level.
