I hope you are well.I have an urgent contract requirement for an Installation Supervisor on a 6 month initial contract at a highly competitive rate of pay.
The candidate will be expected to supervise the Mechanical, Electrical and Civil works on a Gasification project in the West Midlands for a major North American technology company making big strides in the UK energy market.
A background therefore of Power Generation sites ideally Gasification, Waste to Energy, Biomass would be extremely desirable.
The main duties will include-
* Work closely with the project manager on resolving all site related issues
* Ensure proper site safety procedures are followed by all site personnel
* Ensure that equipment received on site is per drawings and design specifications
* Provide technical support and guidance to the subcontractors and coordinate resolution of technical issues with design engineers
* Ensure installations are executed in accordance with contract requirements on time and on budget
* Keep daily installation records
* Participate in start-up and commissioning of the equipment
* Other duties as assigned
