Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - Contract - London - Market Rate
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a market leading IT and Technology recruitment firm, based in the City on a 4 month contract basis.
The overall purpose of the role is to perform general accounting including preparing journal entries; Maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account/bank reconciliations; Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the Finance Manager.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are but not limited to; Preparation of monthly financial reports; Prepare quarterly VAT returns; Assist with Payroll administration; Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable and reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
Successful candidates will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent); Have working knowledge of Sage Line 50 account software (essential); Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a management accountant role; Be computer literate with excellent Excel skills and ideally (but not essential) have working experience in the recruitment industry.
