Management Accountant, Oil Trading / Fund, LondonMy client, one of London's fastest expanding oil and commodity focused Investment Managers. We are seeking a Management Accountant to join its London team.
The Role
The Management Accountant will report directly into the CFO and will be responsible for production of management accounts in addition to budgeting and forecasting processes. The role will also include ad hoc financial reporting work in addition to some tax and treasury in this rapidly expanding team. You will have ownership of a daily "P and L" in addition to producing and reporting trader compensation calculations.
We are seeking a commercial minded individual who has a "can do" attitude and has an entrepreneurial mindset. It is a fast-paced working environment and can be highly rewarding.
The Candidate
- ESSENTIAL: Must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong academic background including at least a 1st Class / 2.1 Undergraduate degree from a top tier University.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 YEARS relevent post qualification experience in financial services / investment environment. Commodity trading (oil) experience will also be considered.
- Strong reporting and forecasting experience.
- Strong Excel Skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on attitude.
