Manager of Strategic & Cross Divisional Advisory - Financial Crime - Wealth
My client, a Tier 1 Bank, is looking for a Manager of Strategic & Cross Divisional Advisory Manager, on a contract role, this is to work within the Global Financial Crime Function.
The client requires the experience in:

Managerial/Supervisory level obtained within a Financial Crime, Risk, Audit, Compliance, or equivalent function/role in a financial services environment
-
Relevant experience of FC Advisory or Policy work (or equivalent) specifically relating to ABC at a supervisory/middle management/technical specialist level
-
Evidence of effective strategic leadership and strong interpersonal/influencing skills with a track record of building and sustaining effective relationships, and influencing across all levels within a complex organisation

Evidence of accurate, insightful and timely drafting of complex reports for a broad range of stakeholders
The candidate must be:

Educated to a degree standard

Working towards/willing to take an appropriate technical qualification (ICA Diploma) within 18 months of appointment
The candidate must have knowledge of:
-
RBS Policy chapters relating to FC
-
Relevant UK law and practice relating to FC
-
Wealth systems, processes and procedures relating to FC
-
Fund Management Business - risks, controls, governance etc.

Knowledge of wealth policies and procedures
The candidate will be:
-
Managing a team of 2-5 specialist FC staff or contractors

Responsible for full range of line management and people development

Deputising the Wealth Head of FC as required

Responsible for ensuring all department travel and expenses submitted are within policy

Actively seeking new opportunities for enhancing the efficiency/reducing of operating costs of the regional FC Team
