A unique opportunity has arisen for this lead role as a Managing Director of Sales & Marketing for one of the worlds leading banks in Edinburgh.
This is a contract position, initially for 3 months reporting into the Chief Operating Officer.
The role will involve but not be limited to;
*Ensure business plans are delivered (profit) and optimize supporting KPIs
*Lead the development of product strategies and plans within the Commercial function and contribute to the overall development of divisional strategies including Business and Commercial Banking
*To approve development and income strategies for new and existing business
Key Results
*Income and profitability growth of product portfolio
*Customer counts by product type
*Penetration of products/customers
*Proactive identification of product improvements (profit, income, policy changes)
*Delivery of 2billion income targets
*Management and development of 6 direct reports, all Senior Manager.
*Building and leading an overall team of 90 people.
Skills/Qualifications
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Ideally Insurance or other relevant post-graduate qualification
*Experience in econometrics
*Strong analytical capability
*Significant P&L exposure
*Experience of product development
*Experience of marketing
*Experience of managing a team
