Description
A leading Medical Device Company based in Minneapolis now has a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer on a 12 month contract paying between $ per hour.This engineer will be responsible for identifying scrap reduction opportunities within a particular value stream, and then lead and implement those corrective actions while driving change within the proganization. This is largest project for this business unit's fiscal year.
Responsibilites:
- Use DOE, SPC, hypothesis testing and capability studies to monitor and improve the manufacturing line
- Idenfity cost reduction opportunities using statistical analysis
- Provide training to assemblers
- Create written documents, SOPs and test plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Scrap reduction experience
