Digital Marketing Analytics AnalystResponsibilities:
The candidate will understand business objectives and be able to continuously analyze data to identify issues and make actionable recommendations. He/she must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling changing priorities.
Job Description:
1. Will be able to understand SQL (complex queries, multiple joins, sub-queries, distinct and simple counts in one query)
2. An understanding of BO (or Cognos, or Microstrategy) user interfaces and the ability to create simple queries (from analytics viewpoint) in BO. No special understanding of Universes etc. is required
3. An understanding of online analytics, weblogs, parsing, URLs, Unique Visitors, Page Views, Downloads, Form Submissions
4. Fluent in managing XL files, with VB and/or macros
5. Understanding of Access databases
6. Very basic understanding of any type of Datawarehouse (Oracle, SQL Server, Terradata, Netezza)
7. Experience with Web analytics KPIs, Funnels, Journey/Click-stream Reports

Tools including Business Objects, or Cognos, or Mi, SQL (Oracle or Netezza or Teradata), Microsoft Excel, Macros, Pivot Tables, Microsoft Access, WebTrends, PowerPoint, Online Marketing Experience, Communication Skills
