A small but dynamic financial services business in the City has a great opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.
As Marketing Assistant you will be involved in a wide range of activities that form part of the overall multi-channel marketing strategy. This includes initiatives delivered via the web and email as well as social and print media.
This is a challenging new role in a fast paced environment. Working closely with the Marketing Executive the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in all promotional channels. Responsibilities will include; daily management of social media accounts, contributing towards content creation, plan and prepare for corporate events and trade shows, act as point of contact for SEO agency and ensure service levels are met, work with colleagues to support sales and business development initiatives, reporting on their success, and also support the Marketing Executive to identify the most effective use of marketing spend to increase profile and generate the optimum return on investment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a varied, generalist marketing environment.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing a successful career in marketing so some marketing experience gained within either a work or academic environment is required along with a positive and adaptable attitude and an eagerness to learn.
Exceptional written communication skills are also essential as are good IT, organisation and prioritisation skills. Although not essential, a marketing qualification and some knowledge or experience of SEO would be a real advantage.
