Marketing Assistant/Team Administrator
Frimley, Surrey

A Marketing Assistant is required by a large pharmaceutical client The purpose of this role is to provide assistance and support to the Marketing Team in the delivery of the Marketing Plan and to manage all administrative/secretarial tasks for the marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Procurement and Finance:
* Process PO's, accurate tracking of Franchise expenditure and timely and accurate communication with cost centre managers.
* Liaison with Procurement & Finance to ensure smooth/timely payment of Vendors.
* Liaison with Finance in reporting monthly accruals as agreed with cost centre managers

Provide administrative support for Cross functional Franchises:
* Agenda creation, as agreed with Franchise Lead
* Attend and Minute Franchise Meetings
* All logistical co-ordination.

Events & Meeting organisation as required by Marketing Team:
* Logistics
* Vendor liaison
* Site visits when requested by Marketing Manager

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Efficient organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
* Experience of undertaking proactive project work
* Able to keep to tight deadlines
* Customer minded initiative
* Computer literate - good Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word and Excel)
* In depth Office Management/administrative working experience
* Experience within the Pharmaceutical/Medical Research sector will be useful
