Marketing Assistant - Financial Markets - Uxbridge - £200 PD
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a fast paced and energetic department with the prospect of developing their current skills in marketing programmes, communications, events and branding.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant:

Drive the marketing strategy and lead generation for UKI - especially making use of content-led marketing that shows industry leadership.

Work in close partnership with in-region marketing functional teams for events, product marketing, creative services, web and PR & comms to execute UKI strategy.

Create calendar of hosted events across the UK and Ireland, from concept to completion. Includes scheduling, venue research, securing speakers both internal and external, issuing invites, catering and more.

Research events where they might want to exhibit or speak and coordinate participation with regional events team - including staffing, stand design and build and product displays.

Develop monthly PR strategy with regional PR & comms team, including identifying current issues, drafting releases and blogs.

Create and issue the monthly internal and external newsletters (2). Write content, source photos and get necessary approvals

Work with sales team, resellers and direct customers to drive the case study program.

Develop advertising plans and product launch/promotional campaigns across all UK and Ireland business channels - retail, hospitality, transportation, SMEs and more. Identify relevant media outlets for advertising campaigns and negotiate rates and bookings.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis as required.

Manage the marketing collateral and promotional material inventory. Organise printing, quotes and payments.

Keep track of the UK and Ireland marketing spend and reporting. Raise purchase requisitions and liaise with finance to manage new suppliers and payment of vendors.

Support sales team with creation of presentations, RFPs, brochures, fact sheets and other materials.

Work as part of a larger Europe and global marketing and communications teams, representing the UK and Ireland on regular calls and meetings

Manage the web properties for UK and Ireland, work with the global/regional team to find new ways to utilize digital in marketing activity and improve demand generation

Assist with channel programmes for partners and resellers, including incentives, co-branded marketing materials, sales tools and promotional campaigns
Requirements of the Marketing Assistant:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent

Excellent knowledge of marketing operations, concepts and procedures

Good telephone, writing and communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to work without supervision/self-starters
