Marketing Executive/London, Hove/6 months Contract/200 to 300 GBP (Per Day)
Purpose:
A proactive marketing executive to help our growing Pension Risk Transfer team deliver an integrated marketing function. This is a newly created role which requires a proactive and adaptable candidate, suited possibly to a marketing assistant who is ready to take the next step.
The primary focus is to help PRT Client services team develop a market position in the PRT sector.
The role involves all elements of the traditional marketing mix but will also embrace multimedia and new technologies.
The role will require regular travel between London and Hove. Additional travel may be required
The role will be reporting into the Marketing Manager with a dotted line into the Head of Commercial and Proposition, PRT Client Service
Principal Accountabilities:
To provide support to the Head of Commercial and Propositions to develop and implement marketing plans and support customer contact strategy for PRT Client Services team.
To support the Marketing Manager in coordination and organisation of events, from preparing presentation to arranging logistics to the highest of standards
To be responsible for maintaining and improving the Pension Risk Transfer team website content to ensure it is relevant and meets the needs of target audience.
To take joint responsibility of all marketing administration to ensure that data and content has gone through the correct sign off procedures and is kept up to date at all times
To provide support to the Origination team to ensure that we are joined up and aligned in the delivery of communications
To undertake market research as and when required to ensure that our knowledge bank is up to date and accurate at all times
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Qualifications:
- Degree or relevant marketing qualifications and experience is essential
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of UK financial services industry is essential
- An understanding of the current challenges and opportunities in the Pension Risk Transfer market would be an advantage
- Knowledge of digital marketing is desired
- Strong copywriting skills for online and offline content
- Thorough understanding of financial promotion and relevant regulatory requirements
Skills:
- Previous experience of working in a marketing team is essential
- Good Powerpoint and presentation skills
- Experience of event management is highly desired
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks is essential
- Effective written and spoken communicator at all levels, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and present at meetings.
- The ability to create good working relationships, a good team player, contributing ideas and putting team objectives first.
