Description
Mechanical Engineer
A chance for multiple Engineers to join a growing organisation based in the Newcastle area. Ideally candidates will have solid manufacturing backgrounds and have experience working across a full manufacturing life cycle.
With the organisation being based in the Defence sector candidates will need to be eligible for or hold current SC clearance.
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent with experience) in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years postgraduate experience within an engineering environment.
- Experience of leading technical teams.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Competent in the following software packages:
- Siemens NX.
- Microsoft office, including Microsoft Visio.
- Document management systems such as TeamCenter.
- Business management systems such as SAP.
- Good awareness of:
- Security implications for technical material.
- Commercial considerations.
- Workplace Health and Safety.
- Remote working will be possible, with a reasonable amount of travel to support engagement with the wider team/product.
