Description
Roc Search's Client currently has an immediate vacancy for a mechanical inspector based in Dorset. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques including the ability to read geometrically dimensioned drawings.
An outline of what is expected from the role is as follows:
.Perform inspection on items passing through Goods Inwards in accordance with drawings, purchase orders and company procedures.
.Perform inspection on in-house manufactured assemblies in accordance with drawings, route cards and company procedures.
.To liaise with suppliers and internal departments as required, to ensure that intended specifications are met.
.To maintain records produced from the above duties in a complete and orderly manner as defined by company procedures.
.To undertake other duties within the Inspection, Test & QA environment as required.
.To be prepared to undertake overtime, if required, to ensure output and customer requirements are met.
