Description
We are currently hiring for a Messaging Consultant for an initial 3-6 months contract assignment based in London, EC2. (Duration is very likely to extend) This a hybrid role of 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
The role is inside IR35.
Key deliverables.
- Mimecast Policy clean up [work with PS, and schedule migration and creation of all new rules]
- DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) project - [enable DKIM signing on all domains, configure dmarc actions, enable inbound dkim and dmarc checks and verify and remediate false positives]
- Migration of in use exchange objects from Legacy domains to strategic, including DL, mail enabled security groups, rationaliation of existing groups, shared mailboxes.
AD, Exchange and Mimecast skills:
- Exchange and Exchange Online
- Active Directory components with skills in the core areas of Directory Services, GPO and DFS
- Office 365 and Azure including AAD/Dirsync and ADFS
- Scripting tools; such as PowerShell
- 3rd party email suppliers for services such as message scanning
- 3rd party email archiving solutions; such as Enterprise Vault
- Centralised Anti-Virus and DLP management; such as McAfee EPO
- Certificate Services including Public Key Infrastructure within Active Directory and external 3rd party services
- LDAP directories, ideally LDS
- Mobile Device Management solutions
- Identity Management solutions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the infrastructure platform strategy.
- Monitor and assess emerging technologies to evaluate the potential impacts, threats and opportunities to the organisation and share knowledge and insights.
- Actively maintain knowledge in one or more specialisms and provide detailed and specific advice regarding the application of the specialism(s).
- Produce and own system and infrastructure designs, policies and documentation.
- Provide reports and proposals for improvements to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Provide advice and guidance to support the adoption of methods and tools.
- Actively contribute to the development of other team members.
- Act as a Technical Lead and primary technical contact for key technical areas, coordinating with stakeholders and technical colleagues as required.
- Contribute to the planning, design and delivery of IT projects.
- Configure tools to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of infrastructure.
- Experience of using Active Directory Migration Tool (ADMT)
