Mid Level UX/UI Designer sought by leading financial services organisation based in London.

Experience and Qualifications Required
- At least 5 years UX/UI Design experience
- Professional UX/UI Design or related Qualification
- Ability to gather, synthesise, understand and communicate customer needs, motivations and behaviours and translate them into Digital experiences using design thinking and related methodologies
- Demonstrable experience in creating UX artefacts - Journey maps, IA, low-res and hi-res prototypes and wireframes
- Experience using analytics to inform design decisions
- Experience in epic, user and feature story writing and effort estimation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience managing stakeholders and co-facilitation of remote workshop
- Experience in design thinking, rapid ideation and customer co-creation
- UCD/Agile/Lean UX experience
- Expert skills in design tools like Axure, Sketch, Invision and Adobe Creative Suite
- Creativity, ingenuity, resilience and a sense of humour a must
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a class leading user experience for the various businesses by establishing user needs and consequent information structure for websites and applications, practicing and embedding UCD principles.
- Identify user requirements by researching and analysing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods; studying how users consume content, including data categorisation and labelling; meeting with focus groups, and participating in user research conducted throughout the organisation.
- Plan information architecture by studying the site concept, strategy, and target audience; envisioning architectural scheme, information structure and features, functionality, and user-interface design; creating user scenarios; preparing data models; designing information structure, work-and dataflow, and navigation; evaluating information representation; conducting creative meetings.
- Organise information by translating user behaviour into structure and elements; crafting interactive experiences; producing workflow diagrams, user scenarios, flowcharts and storyboards; navigation rules and site maps; coordinating with key business and technology stakeholders.
- Implement information architecture by preparing interactive prototypes and mock-ups including page layout and navigational elements.
- Ability to take a wireframe, iterate based on user feedback and best in class user experience and turn into high fidelity designs
