Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high daily call rate into Schools prospects based on lists provided
  • Focus on driving workload based opportunities for products such as: SQL, System Centre, Lync and Office 365 deployment and adoption
  • Work with and pass opportunities to partners for follow up
  • Work with SMB partner teams to maintain a list of partners eligible to receive leads
  • Actively contributes towards the improvement of the team and operation
  • Accountable for maintaining internal systems/tools to provide consistent and comprehensive information, maintaining a very high standard of accuracy
  • Ensures that their product and IT Industry knowledge is up to date and maintains an in depth understanding of the business and core goals
  • Participates in Team Meetings, discussions and other activities
  • Additional responsibilities and key measurement criteria will be defined by the relevant Regional/Discipline Sales Manager

Experience Requirements:

Essential:

  • Excellent Communication Skills - Articulate and Clear. Ability to have an open dialogue with the customer without prompts. Mature individual who is able to hold a business conversation. Holds the ability to convey complex scenarios (ie licensing) in a language that is understood by their audience.
  • Familiarity with the UK Schools market, preferably with IT experience
  • Ability to build relationships/rapport. To become a trusted advisor. Professionalism and personality will enable you to win the trust and confidence of your customers.
  • Confident and Outgoing - Participates in Team Meetings, discussions and other activities
  • Eager to learn - Must be able to take ownership for learning and skills development
  • Self-Critical and wants to improve. Open to feedback and coaching
  • Attitude - Positive, Can Do Individual, Self Motivated and Tenacious. Will to succeed. Holds both personal and career goals
  • Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite effectively - competence in SharePoint would be beneficial
  • Experience of working with a CRM application (Dynamics CRM preferred) and understands the need for high data integrity
  • Organisational skills. Should display high degree of ability to organise their time, manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • 1-5 years Sales Experience - outbound Telemarketing Experience a pre-requisite. Understands Business Value. Demonstrate a strong record of success in relationship based selling

Desirable:

  • Graduate Calibre - Degree educated or equivalent, preferably Business or IT related
  • Stakeholder management. Understands the concept of virtual teaming and how to manage relationships across multiple teams and disciplines. Understands wider business objectives

Salary: £27,000 per annum
