Description
We are looking for several "Middleware Engineers" in STRASBOURG (100% on-site, Security Clearance desired, EU-nationals ONLY) to start from approx. June-July-August 2023 an initial contract until (extensions possible) for an international Org' client in Strasbourg. This role is expected to run 4 more years!
EU nationals ONLY (due to the "EU" security certifications required). We can't accept any longer UK-consultants, as long they don't have EU-SECRET clearance or another EU-citizenship.

- 100% onsite Strasbourg
- Mandatory: Security Clearance - EU citizenship (at least 10 years of residence)
- This is a real longterm contract with possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability.
- EU nationals ONLY (due to the "EU" security certifications required). We can't accept any longer UK-consultants, as long they don't have EU-scurity-clearance or another EU-citizenship (after Brexit the UK-consultant can't get any longer "EU" security clearances, which is mandatory for this position).
- A Security clearance (SC) will be required for this position, if you don't have a valid SC, we will guide you. Our company is holding "FSC - Facility Security Clearance", so we are able to guide/sponsor you through the "PSC - Personal Security Clearance" procedure.
- Start date "ASAP" means within 2-3 months (because of SC-procedure, while an existing EU-security-clearance will allow to start sooner, but a new SC application will delay start by some weeks/months).
- Mobility outside country: No.
TASKS
- Contribute in the Operations and Administration of Middleware systems for large-scale application based on Secure Web Services, Data mining, and Data reporting services.
- Supporting the following technologies
WebLogic application service
FTP service
Java Enterprise Edition
Java Transaction API
Ehcach & SpringAspect
- Provide Integration services, Presentation services, Application & common services.
- Create, contribute, and review documentation related to technical systems within the context of System and Application architecture.
- Administrate integrated solutions for different layers of Middleware systems such as Databases, Web Service Connectors, Service Monitoring and Customized Applications.
SKILLS
- Proven experience working as a Windows and/or Linux Middleware Engineer with 5+ years. experience
- Experience with container orchestration platforms based on Dockers, Red Hat OpenShift, and
- Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of development cycles, backup data plans, patching, testing, and security strategies.
- Solid Scripting experience in Python, Bash, Perl, or PowerShell languages.
- Exposure and understanding of Red Hat OpenStack Platform and cloud providers.
- ITIL knowledge.

- This role will be 100% onsite in Strasbourg as long the restrictions are lifted.
