Financial Firm in Menlo Park, CA is Looking for Mobile Application Software Test Development Engineer (STE) at . The Mobile STE is responsible for creation of automated testing tools, test automation frameworks, harnesses, and test scripts.Contract position with the opportunity to extend or turn Perm.

Position Responsibilities:
- The Mobile STE is responsible for creation of automated testing tools, test automation frameworks, harnesses, and test scripts.
- The Mobile STE is primary responsible for test planning, test case design and execution, test case management, defect management, metrics collection and reporting.
- Develops appropriate Automation Test Strategies in coordination with the Functional test strategy
- Designs and implements Automation solutions based on Smart Devices / OS in understanding and analyzing latest mobile technology and device specifications
- Maps automation test cases to requirements or functional test cases to ensure complete test coverage
- Identifies test data requirements and generates required test data
Job Requirements:
- 5 plus years of Mobile Application Software Test Development experience in both manual & automation testing
- BS in Computer Science or similar field (Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent
- Experience in Testing Mobile Applications and Mobile App's
- Experience in Testing iOS and Android Smart Devices and Tablets
- Experience in setting up Emulators/Simulators and Test Environments using Eclipse IDE and XCode
- Experience in Test automation using Calabash/Cucumber/Ruby framework for Mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and web client (various OS and browsers combination)
- Experience with Build Tools and Plugins such as Jenkins, Maven, Hudson in Continuous Integration Environment
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML5, Objective-C or C# development languages
- Knowledge of SOASTA Tool (Touch Test)
- Experience with QA process and tools - ALM11/Quality Center, Jira, Bugzilla
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to reporting accuracy
- Ability to work and motivate others in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Experience with Apache web servers, JBoss and Tomcat app servers.
- Experience working with Ruby, Cucumber is a plus
- Experience working with tools like Cobertura, ElectricCommander a plus
