Mobile Billing Design EngineerMy client is a leading mobile operator based in Dublin who is seeking a Mobile Billing Design Engineer to carry out the development, configuration and testing of in house solutions for small scale projects.
The Role:
- Developing an understanding of the various systems under Mobile Billing including: CSGI, Singl.eView, v6 Customer Management and Billing, Ericsson Charging System/IN.
- Carrying out UNIX Shell, Perl Script, SQL and PL development tasks.
- Carrying out small scale Scripting and simple Mediation Workflow development on the MZ Platform
- Taking responsibility for Unit/Integration/System Test for internally developed/configured components.
- Diagnosing and resolving problems in Meteor's mediation and charging environments with appropriate use of Defect Management Tools.
- Carrying out software configuration management using SubVersion
- Implementing Documentation Version control using Microsoft Sharepoint
- Degree in IT or Engineering
- 3+ years experience in relevant software development industry
- Good software development skills acquired through Shell, Perl, or programming language such as Visual Basic, C or Java
- Strong UNIX, Oracle SQL skills and strong programming background.
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Software development in a UNIX environment and some exposure to Windows and Excel
