Modern Desktop, EUC SME/Architect, Desktop Infrastructure Designer/Architect, fully remote
EUC SME/Architect required for an exciting project working with a finance start-up.
This assignment has been deemed outside of IR35 and services can be provided fully remote.
You will join a very young business looking to research, design and develop a full infrastructure from its infancy. Your focus will be specifically on the EUC/Desktop infrastructure.
As the EUC SME, you will lead the End User Computing function. This will include the design, implementation and to operate the Productivity & Collaboration suite, Remote working capability, Desktop Management, Mobile Device & Application Management, and Identity Management.
Working with other teams and SME's/Architects, your role will be vendor/software/application recommendation and design a suitable infrastructure accordingly.
Any International Working Experience would be beneficial
Skills and experience required:-
- An open and curious mind to rapidly evaluate new technology and ideas
- Willingness and ability to take calculated risk and fail forward.
- Expert level knowledge and experience in design and implementation of modern End User Digital Workplace solutions
- Experience with implementing and integrating various cloud/SAAS
- Ability to design Inter-operability solutions with Office 365 offering.
- Experience with the desktop application deployment, management & security, Directory services, Enterprise mobility, Remote Working solution and Security Management.
- Technical Knowledge of Server and Workplace Virtualization Services
- Design and Implementation of Audio Visual, voice and video capabilities with fit for purpose recording and retrieval services.
- Experience in developing solution strategies, driving decision making and motivating & mobilising resources to deliver rapid transformation.
