Job Summary:
Seeking a Mortgage Insurance Analyst who will assist with Mortgage Insurance (MI) analysis and strategic implementations. This role is W2 Contract only.
Essential Functions:
Assess complex MI processes and reporting
Coordinate MI reporting and analysis
Assist with MI audits
Perform special MI projects, as specified by management
General Skills & Abilities:
Validate MI process/requirements
Prepare MI reporting for risk management purposes
Communicate effectively with peers, internal and external
Understand the underlying assumptions and limitation of the MI process
Skilled at explaining and presenting complex MI concepts
Serve as a liaison between its various internal departments, investors and insurance companies
Manage reporting to ensure data integrity
Fully understand all major analytical models used within the company
Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested
Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication.
Ability to communicate with customers, internal departments, and other outside parties in a professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree
Proficient knowledge of SQL and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
2-3 years experience in Mortgage Insurance
Prior experience in report development
Prior experience in mortgage servicing and/or a banking industry, preferred
