A client of mine, a Travel & Tourism organisation based in Crawley, are currently looking for a MySQL DBA to join their organisation on an initial 6 month contract.
This role is offering up to £230 per day at the very, very maximum and requires the candidate to have experience in the following areas:
- Should have experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of MySQL Databases
- Experience in migration/upgrading MySQL Database to latest version
- Experience in planning and implementing Backup/recovery for MySQL Database
- Experience in export/import, database refreshes
- Experience in MySQL replication
- Experience in tuning and optimization of MySQL Database
- Should have knowledge of Linux commands
