Description
NERC Project ManagerOur large Energy client is looking for a NERC Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC. This position will coordinate activities of the NERC CIP compliance program including documentation, evidence collection, self-reports, mitigation plans, audit preparation and follow-up. This position will work with business units and support groups supporting the CIP compliance program to help ensure a consistent, enterprise approach is presented.
Required:
- 3+ years of project management and/or project coordination in regulatory compliance.
- Must have demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to work with all levels of management and individual contributors.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of NERC CIP Regulatory Standards Background in electrical engineering/computer engineering or computer science.
- Education and/or experience in networking, process controls and/or SCADA Background in IT infrastructure and/or IT security
Other:
- Incumbent must have the ability to begin working in this position while at the same time developing the position requirements.
- Will require some travel across the SE and MW service territory but will be primarily located in Charlotte.
