Great opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer to join a global IT Company for a long-term project.
- Network Engineer - Data and Security Networks
- Network data Switching, Routing, F5 Load balancer, Palo Alto Firewall
- Experience in LAN, WLAN, WAN, Internet Services administration.
- Hands-on experience in Switching and Routing technologies.
- Good knowledge in troubleshooting the network-related issues.
- Good knowledge on Firewall/VPN technologies.
- Basic undemanding of ITIL process
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Firewall and VPN technologies
- Flexible in 24/7 Shifts (should be willing to work extra hours/weekends during Major refresh period).
- Performed IOS upgrades on various models of IP Internetworking layer 2/3 Switches, SD- WAN Router, Load Balancer, DNS, DHCP, Wan Accelerator
- Sound Knowledge in network and security Products will be a advantage
- Should have very good oral and written communication skills
- Added advantage if CCNP, CCSA certified
- Network related audit activities
- Experience in network tools and support & Data center and network room-related activities.
- Strong background in process creation and improvement planning; design, test and implement disaster recovery; capacity optimization
- Provides root-cause analysis, contributes to the knowledge base, and provides recommendations for continuous improvements to workflow, process, and technology
- Installation of New sites, migration and POC
- Installation, Upgrade and Configuration of Network Devices
- Installation and Management of Structured Cabling and Patch Cables
- Image Management - provisioning via approved OS/application versions and configuration standards
- Configuration Version Control Management
- Ensure devices comply with NXP security standards and policies as to hardening, security, patches and policy enforcement
- Capacity Management
- License Compliance Management
- Network Port Configuration (such as port speed, duplex, description, VLAN, port trunking, port aggregation, etc)
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting
