Network Engineer - Essex - £260 per day
A confident and experienced Network Engineer is required to join a strong technical team based in Warley, Essex. Working for a global automotive firm, the successful applicant will have a strong networking history and be capable of handling multiple issues at one time, while working on their own and as part of the team.
Ideally, the Network Engineer will have over 4 years experience in the design/operation of IP Networks within enterprise environments, and be confident working with at least two of the following technologies MPLS, IPSec, VoIP, OSPF, LDAP, SMTP, Proxy Servers, Load Balancers.
Skills required:
- Strong understanding of IP protocols, routing/switching in large LAN/WAN and data centre environments
- Understanding of BGP protocol and peering
- Ability to configure Routers using EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
- Design/implement/configure SSL and IPSec VPN environments
- IP network security - Firewalls, intrusion detection, etc.
- DNS/SMTP/NTP/IMAP/RADIUS/FTP
