Network Performance Monitoring Engineer - BMC/BSM, Riverbed, CMDB, TSOM, Entuity, Cisco - Telford
Square One are looking for a Network Performance Monitoring Engineer o come on board for a 6 month contract based in Telford.
The Network & Application Performance Monitoring team consists of highly skilled analysts, technicians and engineers responsible for end to end performance monitoring of services and applications.
Use of existing tooling to analyse application traffic and identify root cause of service issues
Ongoing development of solutions to monitor the end-to-end performance and end-user-experience of services
Analysis and on-going development of the performance management and monitoring tools to provide clear business and efficiency benefits
Development of detailed visualisations of topologies, performance and health data to aid root cause analysis of poor end to end performance and end-user-experience in the support of applications and infrastructure
Provision of documentation to ensure deliverables are Embedded within business as usual processes

Application Performance Monitoring technologies from Riverbed, AppDynamics and others
Network monitoring technologies from BMC, Entuity, Cisco, Network Instruments, Ixia and others
BMC Core stack Exploitation - event, CMDB, TSOM agents etc. Discovery
Application Monitoring - around BMC tooling
Experienced in the use of industry standard enterprise level network and application performance monitoring and troubleshooting toolsets. Strong working knowledge of end-to-end and Real Time user experience monitoring toolsets, network traffic analysis and understanding of multi-tiered application behaviours.
Good understanding of ITILv3 and related processes
This is a 6 month contract based in Telford starting immediately paying excellent daily rates.
