Description
I am currently working closely with an internationally recognised, market leading client, who are looking to bring on an experienced Network Engineer on a contract basis. The successful engineer will play a key role in the delivery of a large project undertaken by the client, with potential extension coming once the project is completed. We are looking for a Network Engineer who has over 5+ years' industry experience and has direct and specific knowledge of Network Security. The Engineer will be considered as the 'on-site expert' of this, and will be expected to provide full support and operational management of the network, being responsible for the incident/problem management and resolution.

Role & Responsibilities
*Be the on-site 'subject matter expert' for the network
*Responsible for the operational management of the network
*Responsible for all incident and problem management of the network, and the resolution of it
*Responsible for the availability, continuity, performance and security of the network
*Provide full support for the client's projects and workload
*Keeping accurate documentation and register/log all information in available tools
*Writing technical procedures
Skills & Experience
*5+ Years industry experience in Networks & Network Security
*CCNA OR CCNP Certification
*Knowledge of Cisco products (ie Routers, Switches, PIX/ASA Firewalls, VPN, 3000 series, ASA
*Knowledge of Network Security (ie Fortinet Firewalls, Bluecoat Proxy, Infoblox IPAM)
*SNMP (Solarwinds) Network Management & monitoring tools
*SSL Encryptie
*Load Balancing/Reverse Proxy (F5)
*IDS/IPS
*Ability to work in a complex, busy environment and liaise with various teams/stakeholders
*Able to communicate in a professional and polite manner
