Description

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an Operational Architect to join a thriving Managed Service division.

The successful individual will work in the Networking Technology and Services space, taking ownership for building managed service portfolio offerings. You will also be responsible for pre-sales due diligence, technical governance and technical assurance as well as driving thought leadership within the Manager Service Technical and ITIL service lines.

You will be joining the organisation at a Consultant/Architect level with the ability to influence and drive technology and service standards within the Managed Service practice. You will be comfortable being the technical lead working with a varied team of analysts in service incubation programmes, through multiple phases including adoption and into business as usual.

Your ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation will be a valuable asset as you traverse across both our Client's and their Customer's environments building trusted relationships that will help you meet your objectives and maintain excellence.

This is an extremely important, highly demanding, and visible role within the organisation. Your peers are already well established experts in their field and will support you in creating robust services for the extensive and demanding client base.

You will need to have demonstrable expertise in a managed services operating model as well as a detailed level of technical concepts for Network solutions and services including Traditional Networking, Software-Defined Networking, Cloud Networking, Wireless and Network Security across leading vendors & partners technologies stacks which include Cisco, CheckPoint, Juniper, HP Aruba, Palo Alto, Citrix, Juniper, Bluecoat, Riverbed, F5 etc.

Key Requirements:

  • Certified CCIE or equivalent
  • Certified PCNSE (Palo Alto)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an architect/consultant in a managed services environment
  • Solid experience with Network Switches, Routers, Firewall and load balancers with emphasis on Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, Juniper SAxxx, Juniper Firewalls, F5 Appliances
  • Strong understanding on Internet working technologies
  • Knowledge and experience of multiple technologies in the Networking arena.
  • Ability to present to both internal and external audiences.
  • Proven ability producing documentation for a business and technical audience
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and ability to articulate both technical and commercial ideas clearly and simply
  • Analysis skills, lateral and creative thinking
  • Strong team player both as part of a virtual team and project team
  • You must be DV cleared
