Officer/Analyst Security Services - Investment Banking - Contract
My client a leading Investment Bank based in London is currently recruiting for an Officer/Analyst within Security Services. The successful candidate will be experienced working within Loan agency services for all syndicated loan products handled within Corporate agency & Trust operations.
Key responsibilities/Experience
- Work is organised and processed/completed in accordance with departmental operating instructions within agreed time scales.
- Undertake complex new drawings, rollovers, rate fixing, repayments and prepayments in accordance with Loan Documentation
- Monitor receipt of funds, escalating any non payments in accordance with operating procedures.
- Creating and maintaining key relationships with the borrower and syndicate.
- Creating and maintaining key relationships with internal origination teams and other internal departments such as the payments and reconciliation teams.
- Ensure that all entries passed over the nostro accounts are reconciled correctly, advising the reconciliation team of all matched entries passed. All missing entries and unmatched items are investigated and actioned promptly.
- Identify and resolve any non-balancing/outstanding items in accordance with the targeted resolution timeframes with items outside of these timeframes being escalated accordingly.
- Ensure all covenants financial/other information, stipulated in original loan documentation is received and if delayed, chased and reported. Once received, distributed promptly to syndicate members. Non receipt to be escalated as necessary.
- ACBS, swift and Loan Agreement knowledge is highly desired.
- Customer-facing role, constant contact with Banks in our Syndicates and with Borrowers, requiring excellent relationship building, cross- cultural and verbal and written communication skills.
