For one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry, we are currentlylooking for a Planner Operational Excellence Practitioner
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with a possibility of being extended
Location: South of Brussels
Mission Purpose:
To provide Planning and Operational Excellence to support ProjectManagement Office (PMO) to deliver their Strategy across Belgium Sitesin the most efficient, robust and reproducible way.
Responsibilities:
Planner:
- Contribute to the deployment of a project Portfolio Office with focuson the Manufacturing Production Unit (MPU).
o Dashboard
o Preparation of WBS and related diagrams
o Schedule ( Gantt chart - significant milestone )
o Resource allocation
o Workload estimation by resource
o Objectively track progress of the program
o Risk analysis
o Identification of issues and risks with the program
o Benefits valorisation
o Assessment of the benefits to the organization
o Define the need of equipment to be released for trials
o Assessment of Impact on production
o Minimize production disruption
o Cost estimation ( raw materials, component , )
o Provisioning and Procurement impact estimation
o Centralize information & reporting
o QC test and validation planning
- May be located in a specific Community of Practice (CoP)
- Contribute to the MPU or project objective, balanced scorecard andGIO long term quality plan.
- In the scope of the Community of practice:
o Contribute to the follow up of the CoP meetings.
o Schedule a global priority transversal project that will be split upinto different MPU specific implementation projects, in collaborationwith the local planners.
o Ensure the consistency and global overview of the planning of thoseprojects
Operational Excellence:
- Determine with the collaboration of the GOE Function, the OE Strategyand plan.
- Support as well as facilitate projects that have a transversal (morethan 1 Manufacturing Unit (MPU) impact and that will deliversignificant business benefit across Belgium Sites;
- Delivery of benefits as identified in the project business cases;
- Provide advice, support and mentoring to Project Managers andLeaders, on OE tools, methodologies and Lean Culture deployment;
- Actively encourage and support use of collaborative tools andprocesses (KM) to enable a lean and effective MPU or project includingfunctional working of processes;
- Develop and enhance a culture of Excellence to do things simpler,smarter, and quicker and in a robust, reproducible way;
- Ensure effective communication for OE transversal QIP programs/projects;
- Network with Local OE champions/experts to exchange knowledge,learning and good practices (member of Belgium OE Forum);
- Remove barriers to progress.
- KPI definition, visualisation and follow up
Profile:
- University Science Degree;
- 5 to 10 years industrial experience (Pharma, food, automotive,hospital, petro-chemical .)
- Minimum of 2 Years experience in planning;
- OE Green Belt or working towards this certification;
- Excellent Communication skills & an ability to influence atall levels of Management;
- Change Management and training aptitude;
- Project Management (use of all PMO processes defined inStrategic Performance Management);
- Animation/Presentation/Training skills;
- Assertive;
- Team Spirit;
- Pragmatic;
- Expertise in OE principles/tools/methodologies/application
