Operations Manager/+3 months/Basel, Switzerland
For my client, a successful global organization, I'm seeking for Operations Manager. In this role as Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Representing the Global Infrastructure Services within the customers assigned
- Ensure awareness of GIS offerings, and adhere to GIS processes/standards.
- Proactively engages with the customer to understand all their current application, projects, requirements and ensure that delivered IT infrastructure is aligned to their requirements eg capacity, operational
- Supporting the Customer service managers, so they are able to do their job by imparting knowledge, removing roadblocks
- Be the escalation point of key/major incidents, taking ownership and pursuing effective resolution.
- Coordinating IT vendors and IT customers during critical incidents
- Interacting with GIS Finance and Demand Management team to ensure they set and manage appropriate deadlines for submitting PxQ, Bottoms up, LO, Budget,
- Keeping ROM's and KAM's informed of business units challenges and opportunities
Required skills
- Qualification: Degree in business/technical area
- Good experience in IT infrastructure management, project management, service management, vendor management
- Experience of working in an international environment with virtual teams
- Capable of managing across a Matrix organization
- ITIL Certification
- Experience on SAP environments
