Description
Key responsibilities* Assist General Manager and wider management team with the management of change and provide leadership and direction to employees
* Ensure work processes and quality standards employed by reporting teams are consistent with both Company and Customer requirements including QHSE policies and standards
* Support General Manager and colleagues within business unit by identifying business improvements and discussing and giving input to short and long term strategies
* Plan and schedule work load to match pipeline and look ahead requirements and utilise these tools in conjunction with offshore schedule to ensure timely delivery of work
* Manage operations to ensure service efficiency, optimum quality, service, safety and cost effective management of resources within the BU
* Work in partnership with the human resources department regarding team employees including identifying recruitment and development requirements, managing absence and conducting appraisal process for those within area of responsibility
* Manage and provide direction to reporting teams ensuring all are aware of Company, BU, team and personal goals and objectives
* Develop team members, providing guidance, support and mentoring to create a supportive environment of continuous improvement and helping to ensure a positive work experience for all
* Contribute to regular and ad-hoc meetings as required i.e. Safety.
* Prepare and contribute to monthly and quarterly BU activity and performance reports.
Qualifcations:
Education:
Essential
* Subsea BOP and Tree experience, Subsea Sampling, IWOCS, Controls, Intervention experience
Preferred:
* Degree qualified in engineering, financial or business related discipline or appropriate project management qualification preferably through an accredited body
Experience
Essential:
* Experience in working withOil & GasSubseaequipment and general fitting
* Previous experience in a management role for a service organisation within the oil, gas and/or petrochemical industries
