I am currently recruiting for an Operations/Settlements Analyst - Investment Banking for a Global leading Bank. Please find the role details below.
Rate: £190.00 per day
Location: Central London
Role: Operations/Settlements Analyst - Investment Banking
Contract Length: 6 months rolling
This area has seen significant recent growth and as such has been given budget for additional headcount. The Operations/Settlements Analyst - Investment Banking will have:
- A calm, logical approach to all situations
- Experience being able to deal with Front Office and client demands
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- A good team/individual mentality
Technical
- An understanding of basic trading strategies.
- Proficient working knowledge of European exchanges and LME
- Ability to improve and streamline processes
- Efficient PC skills.
Key Deliverables for the Operations/Settlements Analyst - Investment Banking Role:
- To ensure that all trading feeds are working sufficiently.
- To ensure that all trade complications are dealt with in a timely manner.
- To perform end of day checks to make sure all business has been entered into the settlement system.
- To check throughout the day on all trade input, noting and make any amendments necessary.
- Produce reports and recaps for clients of daily business.
- Ensure BPM tasklist is up to date when tasks completed
- Understand the Standing orders of the client
- To maintain the static of contracts within the systems.
- Preparation, monitoring and notification of Futures and Options positions approaching last trading/expiry day.
- Assist with delivery of Bonds, Commodities, Emissions and Equities at the exchanges/clearing houses and ensuring internal systems across operations are completed.
Candidates for the Operations/Settlements Analyst - Investment Banking role, must come from a financial services background.
