Optimization Engineer

Scope of Work

  • Follow-up of cluster optimization activities and process
  • Collect and analyze KPIs of existing network from Huawei customer
  • Check cell status (KPIs, alarms, RTWP, VSWR), detect and analyze issues
  • Cluster parameter consistence check, and fix
  • Check worst Cell list and analyze the root cause
  • Neighbourhood optimization
  • Interference detect and analyze
  • Monitor the performances in the clusters assigned and optimize KPI to reach the non-regression threshold
  • Parameter tuning and recommendations
  • Update parameters change update in the tool of customer
  • Ascend issues without solution to technical support team
  • Produce reports acceptance in Huawei format to deliver to Huawei PM assigned to validate them
  • Ensure the performances monitoring per site during the VSR acceptance phase

Weekly reporting

A weekly reporting will be provided to Huawei radio network optimization Manager; this reporting will highlight the achievements of the week, the overall progress of the project and the detailed progress of each cluster.

Qualifications:

The engineers provided by supplier should be:

  • University degree in telecommunication or electrical/electronic engineering or business school.
  • Good knowledge of at least one or more of the following radio technologies: WCDMA, GSM, LTE.
  • At least 3 years radio network optimization experiences.
  • Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to cooperate and work with peoples from different cultures
  • Know well about at least one drive test tool and post-processing software (such as Nemo/Actix, XCAL/XCAP)
  • At least 1 year work experience on signalling trace and OSS analysis.
  • Fluent oral and written English, French
