Description
Oracle Consultant required for a banking sector assignment based in Copenhagen.
The role will start ASAP and initially run to the end of the year and will involve the following areas:
-Review and design appropriate and stable solutions, which improve the environment.
-Manage databases - create, patch, upgrade, maintain objects and performance tuning - at Unix and Linux in a physical and virtual environment with ASM and DataGuard.
-Manage configuration and provisioning of databases using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c
-Document, standardise and automate the environment using best practices and automated processes.
-Manage data protection using RMAN. Manage flashback, compression and partitioning.
The ideal candidate for the role of Oracle Consultant should have:
-In-depth knowledge of Oracle core infrastructure components area and Linux/Unix.
-Ability to manage an Oracle database from its creation, until it is decommissioned.
-Able to develop utilities and automate work using Scripting and OEM12c.
-Knowledge of ITIL and Remedy.
