Oracle CONSULTANT (JEE) - DUBLIN - 12 MONTH
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Oracle Consultant for an initial 12 month contract.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of four years overall in the administration and deployment of JEE applications to Oracle Application Server (iAS) or Oracle WebLogic.
You will also have a minimum of four years background in the competencies listed below;
- Administration and deployment of JEE applications to Oracle Application Server (iAS) or Oracle WebLogic
- Manage Oracle OC4j 10g or Oracle WebLogic (11g or 12 C) in a Linux/Unix n-tier environment
- Operating in an Oracle 10G, 11g or 12c database environment shared between multiple (40+) bespoke JEE applications
- Configuration and management of Oracle OC4J 10G or WebLogic (11g or12C) in a large scale (40+) application environment
- Configuration and management of Apache HTTPD Webserver
- Configuration and management of Oracle Reports
- Configuration and management of Oracle Discoverer
- Configuration and management of Oracle Interconnect
- Configuration and management of Subversion source control

- Work in an ISO standards based audited and change controlled computing environment
- Expertise and certification in networking principles such as Firewalling, IP, DNS, TCP, HTTP
- Expertise in migration of Oracle OC4J WebLogic, Reports, and Discoverer, Interconnect between Oracle database versions
- Configuration and management of ManageEngine Applications Manager
- Proven expertise in migration of applications between Oracle OC4J and Oracle WebLogic
- Proven expertise in migration of reporting technologies (eg Discoverer, Reports) between Oracle Application Server versions (eg 10g to 11g)
- Troubleshooting Oracle iAS and WebLogic database communications in a RAC or clustered environment
- Expertise in support of Oracle Middleware on the x64 RedHat Linux Operating Systems including creation and management of Shell Scripts, CRON, etc
- Maintenance of systems to provide 24x7 availability
- Security related research and patching across software products in use in the application area
- SSL certificate production and management (OpenSSL)
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting the Oracle Java Virtual Machine on a Linux Operating system
- Customisation and management of Oracle BI Publisher (XML-Publisher)
- Customisation and maintenance of JIRA and Confluence products from Atlassian
- Developing using the Oracle JDeveloper 10g/11g Development Environment
- Maintenance of the technical testing environment using HP LoadRunner
- Integration of third party GIS applications into line of business applications (for info the Dept uses the eSpatial product)
- Configuration and management of the Oracle Internet Directory
- Configuration and management of SiteManager from Terminal4
