Oracle DBA - Consultancy - London - £60,000 total package
Oracle DBA urgently required for a well-known consultancy working on a London-based financial project. The industry-renowned business has experienced a successful period of growth and is looking for professionals to join their expanding team and to work with their class-leading client portfolio.
Successful candidates should be able to provide advice and guidance to other database developers throughout the application teams. Experience with RAC, Exadata, performance tuning and working with high volume multi-terabyte databases is mandatory.
Oracle DBA requirements:
- Excellent Oracle DBA skills (9i/10g/11g) - good understanding of database structure and configuration
- Background in tuning high-volume multi-terabyte databases and partitioning in a DWH environment
- Strong knowledge in RAC installation, performance tuning and administration as well as Exadata
- Prior Smartscan experience is desirable
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Flexibility to travel where required
- Prior consultancy experienced preferred
