ORACLE APEX

A leading automotive organisation based in central Leeds are currently looking for an Oracle Apex Developer for a 3 month contract in order to assist with an upgrade migration project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing in-house applications and reporting systems required by the business including the enhancement of existing applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Develop Oracle PL/SQL routines which are used by the application for data access.
? Develop business critical applications and report mechanisms using the Oracle Application Express (APEX) development platform.
? Required to deal with complex data models and relational database mapping.
? Help to gather requirements from directors, key managers and users, ensuring these are documented using appropriate methodologies such as business process modeling language (BPML), creating of user requirements specifications (URS) etc.
? Ensure appropriate testing of developed applications (System testing, User testing etc.)
? Help operational teams improve their processes and data management.
? Maintain close communication with IT & Communications Manager.
? Provide support to the IT department in areas such as Operations & Infrastructure where appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

? Oracle 10g/11g Developer - Preferably Oracle Certified.
? Oracle 10g/11g DBA - Preferably Oracle Certified.
? Oracle Application Express.
? .NET, ASP, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax & CSS experience.
