Oracle Fusion and WebLogic Consultant required.
To work as a Technical Consultant within Operations team.
Required Skills
- Analytical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
- Significant hands on knowledge of building, administering and troubleshooting ETL tools such as AbInitio, WebMethods and Datastage
- Excellent end to end technical capability including
- Hosting and networking
- OS administration and Scripting
- Databases including Oracle
- Oracle product expert including Fusion and WebLogic
- Integration software expert
- Scheduling tools such as Control-M
- Expert in monitoring and data visualisation for operations including Graphite, Graphana & Nagios
- Able to design and implement operational solutions including tools and processes
- Able to pro-actively monitor performance, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
- Excellent communication skills, ability to gain confidence of project teams and customers
Required Experience
- Transition of multi-million projects into operations
- Past working experience on the support of complex Global systems
- Troubleshooting complex issues
- Implementation of monitoring and operational visualisation solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of operational toolsets for monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting
- Provide hypercare support
- Implementation of best practice operational processes and tools
- Ownership of critical production issues
- Carry out incident triage
- Own root cause analysis
- Identification and implementation of fixes and root cause workarounds
- Pro-active identification of issues and resolutions
- Carry out performance analysis and troubleshooting
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Communicate effectively with project, customer and all other support groups
- Track and report operational KPIs and metrics for clear visibility of operational performance
