Project actuary - Modelling
We are currently looking to a hire a modelling actuary to join a project team for the next 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your Prophet knowledge as well as pick up new systems experience.
You will be working on a large actuarial system transformation and will be required to carry out a number of the following responsibilities;
- Maintain the systems/processes used within the required level of governance. (prophet and other actuarial systems)
- Prophet coding and development.
- Undertake technical analysis using complex actuarial and analytical techniques in accordance with agreed guidelines and methodology.
- Understands and uses complex actuarial concepts where required.
- Challenge and make improvements and efficiencies to processes, procedures and documentation to make them more accurate and/or efficient.
Project actuary - Modelling skills and experience
- Part-Qualified OR qualified actuary
- Advance Excel user
- Experience within the Life insurance industry.
- Actuarial systems experience
- Strong Analysis background
- Excellent stakeholder management/communication experience.
