Outsourcing Manager - Contract - Hertfordshire - Great Rates!
Our Client, a large aerospace engineering organisation are looking for two Outsourcing Managers to be based in Hertfordshire. You will effectively manage the successful supply chain integration and change management between two businesses.
Core responsibilities:
- Develop a baseline understanding by site of what is made and what is bought.
- Identify currently planned outsourcing projects, timing, rationale, and planned benefits.
- Align with existing Group strategies as applicable.
- Understand from business development future trends in the customer market or products that could provide us with a competitive advantage we want to grow or get into.
- Develop a "make/buy" procedure and deploy in sites.
- Identify by site/sector/or company key outsourcing strategies with an associated implementation plan.
Competences & Previous Experience:
- Degree qualified with previous post graduate experience in Procurement and Supply Chain which include time spent as Buyer/Planner and Operations Manager in a Manufacturing environment (Circa 10 years).
- Experience outsourcing major commodities both domestic and overseas.
- Experience identifying process, skill and performance gaps and subsequent implementation plans to fill such gaps, establishing standard work, KPI's and organisation.
- Experience in conducting post-merger integrations is preferred.
- Have previous experience working within major blue chip organisations.
You will be working with sensitive data and as such you should be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline) & Disclosure Scotland Security Vetting before being able to commence the contract.
